quotes I met up with Mattias on a riding vacation to Whistler a few years back, he was there for the MSP premier. We ended up riding together all day and he stopped to shoot some photos on a couple sections just because he was so stoked on riding/photography. I have them in my gmail folder somewhere... One of those guys more interested in your story than his own rad life, super humble guy. To top it off he got us into the MSP premier. If you read this Mattias PM me, it's Aaron from Jackson Hole, WY.

quotes The Ibis Mojo HD is the sickest bike in the world ever created. That's why Anne Caro, Lopes and I ride one!

quotes Hi rffr. You probably can't shuttle anything because your Mom's minivan doesn't have enough power to get you to the top. Yes, anyone who knows what's up shuttles Pemberton and Squamish on their Whistler trip. Even Whistler bike park has it's limits and if you want the real gnar than you have to get into the "backcountry" or I'd say "go mountain biking". JHMR is many years from being really good, but when you combine it with Jackson Hole's AM trails and Teton Pass 55MPH highway shuttle we've got it pretty good. The only place that arguable has it better is the Northwest, but unless you live there you probably have no grounds to talk smack. GO BUILD TRAILS AND RIDE YOUR BIKE

quotes It seemed like you were hating on the Jekyll and I felt compelled to defend that bike based on a fresh experience. I'm glad you guys are here to regulate the ends of the interweb with your rational and uncontrived wit.

quotes ^antmav. Have you ridden the Jekyll? Do you own a bike you can pedal? What bike? I just rode my new Jekyll carbon 2 4,000 feet down our local Gnar here in Jackson Hole and it's one of the best bikes I've been on. That's coming fresh off an Ibis Mojo HD Vivid Air/ Lyric 170 set-up. Don't hate if you don't know.

quotes US Miltary Helmets are using Carbon Fiber to deflect bullets. The plane that you flew at 27,000 feet above the earth was structurally held together by Carbon Fiber. That F1 car that was pulling 3 g's at 200mph is completely made from carbon including the brake rotors. Remember when we all though aluminum was a fragile material and "steel is real". Pretty funny now.

quotes Note: Canfield Bicycles are made in Taiwan along with everything else because dirtbag DH consumers can't and won't buy a US or CAN made frame for 3000+. This is the way it is and has been for a half decade. If you do buy a Canfield, Transition, Evil or like you're supporting a niche brand run by people that are doing because the live and breath bikes. They only do it because they want to present the market with something that it needs - capitalism. Good luck running a sustainable bicycle company that makes bikes in North America. Impossible because these bikes take 25+ man hours per frame to produce plus insanely expensive custom molds, materials, disposal, taxes, shipping, insurance. I saw an old Santa Cruz Super 8 on Ebay if you're looking for an American bike.

quotes Wow, I suck. I used to consider my self a BMX rider and after watching this I just suck. Robots, these kids are robots.

quotes This is even better than the plastic ones, because when you break it, not only will it snap and fail to save your life, it'll split into tons of sharp fibre glass edges, for extra self damage! Are you speaking of plastic or carbon kevlar? It seems you have no idea what the actual structural integrity of Cabron/Kevlar really is. Have you ever watched an F1 race car crash at 150MPH? The fuselage of that car that saved the drivers life is made of the similar material. Dorks and hating on carbon.... goes on and on.

quotes Too Expensive? Really? You guys are participating in an expensive sport that's prices are dictated by materials, manufacturing cost, company size and consumers - willing to spend. If you want a 1000.00 dollar frame there out there, but you're sure as hell not going to find one being produced in small runs for a small group of passionate cyclists from Bellingham, WA. You should probably just buy a used YZF450 and stop mountain biking.
